Earn Out Loud

Hey friend,
Amazon did it again.
On July 30, 2026, the tech and retail giant beat Wall Street expectations across nearly every benchmark set for the second quarter.
Revenue: $200.6 billion vs $196.5 billion estimate
Earnings Per Share (EPS): $5.75 vs $1.81 estimate
Operating Income: $27.5 billion vs $23.6 billion estimate
Advertising Income: $19.81 billion vs $19.43 billion estimate
AWS Revenue: 42.2 billion vs $40.54 billion estimate
And still, I fear you’re missing Amazon’s potential.
Amazon AWS Revenue

Source: Yahoo Finance
Over the last 12 months, Amazon’s AWS division generated more money than the annual sales of 474 companies in the S&P 500.
And AWS is just one of many revenue streams for Amazon.
Advertising Income

Very few people realize that Amazon became one of the largest advertising businesses on Earth.
Amazon's advertising business generated more revenue in just three months (Q2 2026) than three of the world's largest advertising companies made in a year.
Amazon E-Commerce
Last quarter, Amazon made roughly $70 billion from its online stores. It also collected more than $50 billion from third-party sellers.
Amazon is unique. Millions of other businesses (large and small) use its website, technology, payment services, fulfillment operations, and logistics to sell their own products online.
Amazon built one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the world and managed to get paid at every layer… even if they don’t sell the product.
Amazon Then, Now, and Tomorrow

You and I first talked about Amazon in April 2025. The stock traded at $178.
Five months later, the stock climbed to $228. That told us that the long-term trend was still intact.
Today, Amazon’s stock is trading at $271.
Overall, Amazon is valued at $2.9 trillion.
But Amazon’s CEO, Andy Jassy, believes AWS (just one division) will one day generate $1 trillion per year, with much of that growth driven by AI.
Basically, he believes AWS will one day be bigger than Amazon itself.
And if what Andy believes is even close to being true, as I said in the beginning, you are still underestimating how large Amazon will be.
Big Beginner Insight
Twenty years ago, Amazon was an online bookstore.
My mom told me to invest at age 17. I didn’t. I believed they wouldn’t adapt to technology fast enough.
Today, Amazon is one of the world's largest cloud computing companies, advertising companies, and e-commerce platforms ever built.
It has proven that its businesses will evolve to meet tomorrow’s demands.
So far, the next 10 years look outstanding.
Don’t make the mistake I made.

Keep investing in tech that shapes our future,
