AI Runs on Energy—Here’s How to Profit From That
Microsoft, Meta, and others are betting on nuclear power. Here’s how you can too.
Usually, I save the investment discussions for Tuesday. But today, we’re making an exception.
Because we’ve overlooked a very important investment. One that’s so important and foundational to the future that every Earn Out Loud reader—free or paid—needs to hear about it.
Nuclear Energy.
Quick Story 🎙️
Radioactive gases and iodine were released into America’s environment after a nuclear reactor reached temperatures of 4,000 degrees and had a partial meltdown.
That happened in 1979 at a Pennsylvania nuclear plant called Three Mile Island.
And yet, in September 2024, Microsoft signed a 20-year deal to reopen the Unit 1 reactor at Three Mile Island.
And last week, Meta signed a similar deal for the same Unit.
Why?
Fossil fuels can’t keep up with the demands of AI data centers, but Nuclear energy can.
Here’s the Point 🎯
“AI is the new Industrial Revolution” isn’t a figure of speech. It’s literal.
History is repeating itself right before your eyes:
During the original Industrial Revolution:
Society shifted from traditional power sources, such as windmills, water, and animal power, to resources like coal, oil, and natural gas.
That shift laid the foundation for everything we know today: cars, airplanes, etc.
Now, during the AI Revolution:
We’re distancing ourselves from industrial sources like coal and gas and increasing momentum toward solar, modern wind turbines—and, yes, nuclear.
This energy transformation is happening right now. And you can invest in it.
The Solution 👍
Just as investors like the Rockefellers, Carnegies, and Vanderbilts became the wealthiest families of the Industrial Era, the opportunity for great wealth is knocking at the door for everyday investors in our AI Era.
Here’s how to take advantage of it:
Open a Brokerage Account: Not sure how? Here’s my step-by-step guide to opening your first account the easy way.
Invest in Nuclear Energy: Constellation Energy, Vistra Corp, and Talen Energy are 3/5 nuclear companies with attractive upside potential.
Scale Your Investments: Consistently invest—month after month—in one (or all) of these companies based on your budget.
Pro tip: If these stocks are out of your budget, try utility companies like NextEra Energy. Why? Utility stocks should also get a boost from the sheer demand for power.
A Word of Encouragement 🗣️
There are several ways to profit from the AI boom—but energy is probably the most overlooked.
Nuclear energy is the one resource that 4 of 7 of the largest tech companies in the world are already locking in deals for.
I encourage you to treat it as the Rockefellers, Carnegies, and Vanderbilts did.
The revolution isn’t coming—it’s already here.
Until tomorrow,

I agree Nuclear Power is the only way to create enough energy to meet Data Center/ AI demands for energy. I highly recommend reading https://rationaloptimistsociety.substack.com/p/the-new-nuclear-capital-of-america . It seems to me some of the most promising nuclear power companies are not publicly traded, but there are a few. I'm excited to see your recs. I have been buying up some nuclear power stocks because as I am constantly researching and writing about AI, and realized nuclear power seems to be the cleanest and most efficient way to feed the AI beast.
